This is not a break-away rim. Instead, it is a very heavy, solid, and stationary rim that is usually only compatible with the largest basketball court rims. It is compatible with 5x5in, 5x4.5in, 5x4in, 5x3.5in, 5x3in, and 4x3in mounting bolt patterns, but not suitable for kids' backboards or other bolt patterns. Please ensure that it works with your backboard's bolt pattern (refer to the left mounting hole dimensions image) if you want to install it on a backboard not mentioned in this detail page.

The mounting base size is 6.61''Wx6.5''H. Please make sure it works with your backboard, especially if your bolt pattern is 5x3.5in, 5x3in, or 4x3in. While it may fit your bolt pattern, it may not necessarily fit your backboard.

This basketball rim is made of 18 mm all solid steel, built for heavy-duty use. It has an 18'' diameter and comes with an all-weather nylon net. The orange powder-coated finish ensures long-lasting durability.
