The Spalding TF-500 basketball is an indoor/outdoor basketball with a composite cover and a wide channel design for greater control. It is available in three core sizes: Size 5, Size 6, and Size 7. The size required depends on the age and sex of the player.

A Size 5 basketball, with a circumference of 27.75" and a weight of approximately 18oz, is designed for players up to age 9. A Size 6 basketball, with a circumference of 28.5" and a weight of approximately 20oz, is designed for players between the ages of 9 and 12 and is the specified ball for women. A Size 7 basketball, with a circumference of 29.5" and a weight of 22oz, is designed for all male players aged 13 and above.

The Spalding TF-500 basketball features a durable composite leather cover and a wide channel design for improved control. The recommended inflation for this basketball is 8 PSI.
